The second CD I recorded the very same month (February 1986), with the same team of Sound Engineers - Lech Dudzik & Krzysztof Drab, was also released by Aperto under the # apo 86 403 CD. I remember Lech Dudzik asking me whether I liked the sound they achieved after long and detailed microphone positioning process. I looked at him and told him I was unable to distinguish which version was which. I was 21 years old, having my first studio experience still in front of me, and everything sounded so perfect on the piano I had (delivered from Germany by Yamaha, perfectly prepared by Mr. Ko Segawa), and in the Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz, which was always considered as one of the best acoustics in the country... I have learned a lot over years but I still remember that very first contact with digital recording technology.
